MDS specializes in the design, development, analysis and prototyping of high efficiency and high torque density permanent magnet electric motors and generators.

Founded in 2002, MDS Motor Design Solutions is a consulting company specializing in electromagnetic mechanic and thermal designs of both conventional and unconventional electric machines. Technical services of MDS is provided by Dr. Metin Aydin, who has more than 18 years of experience in the area of electric motor design. He got his PhD from WEMPEC - Wisconsin Electrical Machines and Power Electronics Consortium at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, the most outstanding university in the area of electric machine design.
